Discernment of Spiritual Gifts

As a follower of Jesus, exploring and exercising your spiritual gifts is a vital and exciting part of your spiritual journey. The purpose of this ministry is to help you discern the spiritual gifts God has given you. Think about your talents or the things you are simply good at doing. Whether it is math, drawing, building, or singing, there is always something in your skillset that God has destined to use for His Kingdom. This ministry welcomes and appreciates your contribution of your special talents.

Food & Fellowship

Following the 10:00 am Sunday service, this group provides a light lunch in Paine Hall allowing everyone to grab a bite to eat and visit with fellow parishioners.

Newcomers

The purpose of the Newcomer Ministry is to welcome visitors to all Advent functions and make them feel an immediate connection with our parish community. We answer questions about Advent and invite them to become a part of our church family. We provide name tags and written material regarding opportunities of our many ministries available, which may be of interest to them or their friends. We also provide a buddy for our new members, so that they have a quick contact to answer any questions about Advent.
